Create and set up an agent

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Introduction to agents

You can imagine a ReplyZen agent as a virtual assistant that automatically manages interactions on your social channels. Since it can respond to comments automatically, an agent needs instructions on how and when to respond.
Each page you added to ReplyZen can be associated with only one agent at a time. You can link the same agent to different pages; it's usually advised to create different agents when you're dealing with different brands in the same ReplyZen account.

You can reach the section to create your agents by clicking on the “Agents” menu.

Creating a new agent

To create a new agent, click on the "Add Agent". The configuration process consists of several steps:

  1. Basic Configuration

  2. Selection of Pages

  3. AI Analysis of Pages

Basic configuration

  • Assigns an identifying name to the agent

  • This name will be used internally to identify the agent in the dashboard and reports

Selection of pages

  • View the list of pages not yet assigned to other agents

  • Select the pages to be handled by this agent

  • You can change these assignments at any time from the agent settings

AI Analysis of pages

You have two options for setting up agent's settings:

  • Analyze with AI: Artificial intelligence will automatically analyze the selected page contents for:

    • Gathering information about your business

    • Configure the agent's settings according to the analysis

    • Optimizing effectiveness for your specific needs

  • Skip Analysis: you will be redirected to agent's settings to manually configure it

"Analyze with AI" is the recommended method for creating an agent, letting AI handle the complex work for you. You can adjust your agent's settings at any time.

As soon as you've created your agent, you can edit its settings.
